Students choose Farnborough as the place to continue their education for two crucial reasons: the quality of teaching, leading to excellent examination results and also the wide range of enrichment activities on offer. You may have heard me say during the Open Evening that it is our goal to build a big space in which youngsters can grow tall.
However, as is the case for all such Colleges as Farnborough which depend almost entirely on public funding, we continue to face significant budget reductions as the Government seeks to stabilise the economy. Your contributions really help to reduce the impact of cuts on the breadth of educational opportunities offered at the College.
Would you please, therefore, consider making a donation to the College over the time that your son or daughter studies here? A donation of just £5 every month from each of our students’ parents or guardians would collectively contribute a very significant sum. We assure you that every penny will be invested in maintaining or improving the quality of provision you would expect at Farnborough.
If you are a UK taxpayer you can sign a Gift Aid declaration which means that we can claim back from the Government an extra 25p for every £1 you give. A £5 donation would then be worth £6.25 to the College or £10 would be £12.50.
You can still make a donation if you are not a UK taxpayer, we would simply get the amount you donated without the claim back figure added.
It is very easy, if you want to set up a monthly standing order, simply choose one of the preselected amounts at the top right of this page, or enter your own amount, and click the ‘donate monthly’ button. You will then be taken to a screen to enter your details and confirm whether you are eligible to Gift Aid your donation.
If you would like to make a one-off donation or discuss some other type of donation, please call us on 01252 688218.
Your donation can be as much as you feel able to give, we currently receive donations of between £5 and £20.
Thank you so much for your generous support which makes such a difference to the College.
